Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, the Mexican American broadcaster. She anchors SportsNation as well as a SportsCenter anchor. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since age nine. Her ability was crucial in helping her get her first post as a production assistant for Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. After this, her CBS affiliate of St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. She moved in 2009 from Rio Grande Valley, Texas to work as an investigative reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Her stories covered immigration, drug trafficking, and various other topics on the Texas as well as the Mexico border. Also, she was a Spanish reporter for the newscast of 5 p.m. as well as anchor and reporter for the newscast from 9 p.m. on English as well as also a Spanish reporter for 10 p.m. Also, she was a substitute for sports anchors and weather forecasters. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's Dallas-affiliate station. There she had more duties. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS as well as the World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason Finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. Eventually, they settled in Mexico City and she was born there on November 22 the 22nd of November, 1985. There is an older sister. In 1992, the family left Mexico for the US and settled in Miami. After a short time, her father divorced from her mother and she was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in 2006. While on a trip with the family in Ohio, the younger Collins had taken a position alongside her elder sister. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school, but was already aware of her plans for what she would do. The campus was beautiful and provided the education she wanted. She completed her schooling and was admitted to the university with a degree in media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the manager of the WRMU's 91.1FM station, where she was employed for a number of years, was her friend. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to believe in herself and was deeply touched by his passion for journalism.
