Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, the Mexican American broadcaster. She anchors SportsNation as well as a SportsCenter anchor. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since age nine. After a short time, her father divorced from her mother and she was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in 2006. While on a trip with the family in Ohio, the younger Collins had taken a position alongside her elder sister. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school, but was already aware of her plans for what she would do. The campus was beautiful and provided the education she wanted. She completed her schooling and was admitted to the university with a degree in media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the manager of the WRMU's 91.1FM station, where she was employed for a number of years, was her friend. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to believe in herself and was deeply touched by his passion for journalism.
